  • Experience: Andy Ulich is one of the firm’s lead trial lawyers with an AV® Preeminent™ ranking, and is licensed to practice before all courts of the State of California and the United States District Court. Active in appellate advocacy, Andy has handled innumerable successful writs and appeals before the California Supreme Court, California Courts of Appeal, and U.S. Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit. Aside from his recognition for his defense work, Andy has shown his ability and diversity in the courtroom on the “plaintiff” side, pursuing recoveries and even punitive damages for his clients. Andy has been recognized by Southern California’s official legal paper, The Daily Journal, for his trial skills as having obtained one of the 10 largest plaintiff-side punitive damage jury verdicts in California for one of his developer clients, and is ranked by American Lawyer as a Top Rated attorney.
  • Background:  Andy started his career as an associate and then a partner with Meserve, Mumper & Hughes where he practiced for 14 years before starting his own current firm.
  • Community & Interests: Andy has been a regular speaker at trade shows and educational seminars, and he donated his time and knowledge as a volunteer director for both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Andy spends his free time hiking, skiing and traveling. He also continues to enjoy tennis, though not (freely admitted) at his former distinguished level as a three-time CIF champion, a member of the UCLA varsity tennis team and national paddle tennis champion.
